Operations Supervisor – Murrey's Disposal

Compensation

• Base Salary: $90,000–$98,000 annually

• Bonus: Up to 10% annually

• Schedule: M-F (occasional Saturdays) early start times; 45-50 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Lead and assign work to solid waste collection crews.

• Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing or routing as needed.

• Support and help implement safety initiatives.

• Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure proper procedures are followed.

• Review and resolve customer concerns related to collection services.

• Conduct employee evaluations and participate in performance management.

• Develop short‑ and long‑term operational goals for the hauling company.

• Oversee compliance programs including environmental, OSHA, and local permitting requirements.

What You Need

• Willingness and ability to relocate for future promotions.

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

• Experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics.

• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and business systems.
