Job Title: Director of Surgical Services (Full-Time)

Location: Pasadena, TX 77504

Pay Range: 113,963−142,459/year (based on experience)
Bonus: 15% Annual Director Bonus (based on performance)
Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
Relocation Assistance: Case by case

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our perioperative team with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for the 24/7 oversight of surgical services, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement solutions to improve service delivery and address potential challenges.

• Lead, mentor, and coach the perioperative team, fostering professional growth and development.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.

• Oversee quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Manage the department’s fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting, equipment requests, and resource allocation.

• Drive strategic growth initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies and the expansion of surgical programs.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent acute care surgical services leadership experience (OR-focused).

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred (Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field).

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state.

• CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.

About the Facility:

• 10 ORs with 2 robots, handling 40-60 cases/day (including Endo).

• Surgical specialties include CV, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Women’s Services.

• Level III Trauma Center.

• Growth initiatives include adding an ortho robot and expanding the CV program.
