Construction/Maintenance Administrator II

About the Position: This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing overall activities related to the construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of Northwest Center for Behavior Health. This level performs manages and supervises construction and maintenance technicians and licensed trades specialists in new construction, maintenance, and upkeep. The ideal candidate has carpentry experience as well as supervisory and/or project management experience, and preference will be given to those with experience in carpentry.
Job Type/Salary:
- 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week
- Annual Salary is:
- Level II: $45,250 / $21.75 hourly
- FLSA Status is Exempt.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
LEVEL II: Six years of experience in building trades, with preference being given to carpentry trade, including three years of supervising employees, inmates, or contractors in building trades; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of college or technical school training in the building or construction trades for each year of the required non-supervisory experience. Supervisory experience may not be substituted.
Possesses a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety.
Special Requirements:
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 80 pounds, push and pull a maximum force of 40 pounds, and lift/hold overhead 40 pounds.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
