HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position involves managing and resolving complex technology problems through analytical and systematic approaches, ensuring secure systems design and integration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in network security, system architecture, and vulnerability analysis, supporting high-level engineering solutions in critical environments.

What You Will Do:

• Perform advanced system engineering tasks to resolve specialized technology challenges.
• Integrate electronic processes and methodologies to enhance system performance and security.
• Apply workflow, organization, and planning techniques to improve operational efficiency.
• Direct and assist engineers in applying system engineering principles to secure system designs.
• Provide expert knowledge of LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and network protocols.
• Conduct network operations monitoring, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), data encryption, and key management strategies.
• Oversee data warehousing and data mining capabilities for optimized system efficiency.
• Act as a top-level specialist, offering guidance on complex projects and high-stakes security solutions.
• Operates in highly secure environments, collaborating with engineering teams, security professionals, and executive leadership

What We're Looking For:

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong familiarity with secure network operations, data encryption, cybersecurity protocols, and high-level system architecture.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage technical teams, provide consultation, and drive complex project initiatives.
• Decision-Making: Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish key objectives independently.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Ability to obtain TS Clearance.
