You will join our Operations Excellence function – a high-impact function working across teams to drive strategic clarity in Global Operations. Joining the Operations Excellence management team, you will be collaborating closely with senior leadership, project owners, PMs and cross-functional teams, to raise the bar for portfolio performance and project execution.

Lead our engine room of project excellence 
As the Senior manager of the Global Operations Project office, you will establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks as well as project standards and methodologies. And along the way, you will promote consistency in methodologies and reporting practices.


You will collaborate with colleagues across Coloplast to build and maintain a portfolio and project governance model that is consistent, transparent and scalable. This includes staying on top of best practices across Coloplast, as you support our project managers, whether they need coaching, guidance or a fresh methodology.


More specifically, you will, among other things:

  • facilitate prioritization and selection of initiatives based on business value, considering resources and budgets accordingly across the portfolioconsolidate project data and provide transparent reporting on portfolio health, risks and benefits realization, as well as identify capacity constraints and propose solutions on portfolio level
  • facilitate decision-making and resolve escalated issues in collaboration with Project Owners, PMs, and business leaders
  • plan, execute and follow up on SteerCo meetings, while aligning key stakeholders and solving escalated issues with business leaders
  • maintain and implement Portfolio and PM tools, templates and systems across the business, and ensure consistent reporting practices.

 

You are a strategist who gets things done
You know how to create and maintain effective frameworks in a complex organisation. This means that you have a big-picture mindset, but you are not afraid to dive into the data when needed. You know how to translate strategies into action and spot risks before others do.


We furthermore imagine that you:

  • bring extensive experience in project and portfolio management, preferably in international or cross-functional settings
  • have a relevant academic background, and understand governance, stage-gate models and PM tools (Power BI, Teamplanner, Microsoft Office)
  • are confident guiding senior stakeholders, solving escalated issues, and coaching PMs and line managers
  • can consolidate complex project data into clear reporting and decision support
  • are fluent in English
