Wage per hour is $17.00!
These positions will have an August 18, 2025 start date.
In this position you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn how to:
Prepare and present food items for a diverse customer audience.
Maintain food standards and health codes.
Provide excellent customer service to guests.
Operate point-of-sale retail systems.
Wash, organize, and stock all key items.
Ensure unit cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
All positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or less), non-benefits eligible. Hours and schedules are flexible and may include nights and weekends. Available full-time positions can be found at dining.cornell.edu/jobs
Required Qualifications
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.
Basic reading and English speaking skills.
Demonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (30+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping as needed.
