As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's AMG Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an engineering team where you will take technical ownership of our GraphQL application within our Asset Management line of business, where you will be responsible for technical design and development. Additionally, you will work with our Data Analysts who help build requirements for GraphQL, as well as downstream consumers to help with any queries or API issues.

Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking software engineers with a strong background using GraphQL. Additional exposure / experience with Java, APIs, SQL, as well as Oracle is preferred.

Job Description

• Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Writes code, tests and deploys software.
• Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintains and debugs software.
