About the role

The Head of HR Projects thrives on change, empowers teams and promotes collaboration whilst delivering and championing rigor of critical HR-projects and programs on a global scale. He/she will lead and oversee the implementation of key HR initiatives across the organization to execute the HR agenda and align with organizational objectives.

Primary duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and ensure execution of a comprehensive global HR project roadmap aligned with the company's overall strategy to ensure the HR initiatives support business goals.

  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and deliverables for HR initiatives across all HR areas in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive a successful execution

  • Manage the integration of HR projects across diverse regions, considering cultural nuances and local requirements (in close collaboration with the local HR teams) to ensure a cohesive global approach.

  • Lead and oversee cross-functional HR project management initiatives along the entire project cycle, ensuring alignment with HR strategy and relevant stakeholders inside and outside HR.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of HR projects, providing regular reports and insights to the HR leadership team, monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Actively manage HR projects costs, ensure projects stay in budget and provide regular updates on projects costs to leadership

  • Ensure HR projects comply with relevant regulations and mitigate potential risks through proactive identification and implementation of counter measures.

  • Foster a culture of project excellence, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PHR, SPHR), ideally in agile project management, preferable. Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years: significant experience with focus on operations and project management within and/or outside of HR

  • Proven track record of successfully leading (HR) project teams and managing complex and cross-cultural initiatives Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics

  • Organizational: In-depth knowledge of HR processes, practices and technology, and their potential effects plus a proactive flexible approach when managing change

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills from classic to agile settings with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate HR projects effectively

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communications and negotiation skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders on all levels.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership abilities with a clear collaborative style, including the capacity to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common objectives; ability to work in a fast-paced growth organization, lead, influence, and drive teams through change

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and make informed decisions in evolving HR landscapes

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and balance strategic thinking with hands-on project management. Change management expertise with a track record of successful implementations
