Could you be the full-time Project Procurement Manager (f/m/d) in Vienna, Austria we’re looking for?
Your future role:
From Vienna to the world: our Viennese site is a global competence center for trams and light rail vehicles. 800 colleagues develop and manufacture the Flexity™ tram for worldwide customers from Austria to Australia. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Patricia Curia (Site Procurement Director, Vienna) and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look to you for:
- Drive all procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing aligned with project milestones and quality standards
- Manage the material procurement budget, lead cost optimization initiatives, and report savings against annual targets set by the business
- Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy that meets project objectives in terms of Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Environmental & Development (QCD & ED) commitments
- Monitor and report on the status of orders and deliveries, ensuring critical components are available for each train unit and proactively addressing any gaps or delays
- Prepare and present procurement performance reviews using standardized KPIs, ensuring transparency and alignment with project and site expectations
All About You

- 5+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally in project-based environments
- Strong background in managing material budgets, supplier contracts, and negotiations
- Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Office; advanced reporting capabilities
- Solid understanding of procurement compliance and legal frameworks
- Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies
- Fluent in English and German
- Background in industrial operations, quality, or supply chain is an advantage

The minimum salary for this position is € 65.000 EUR gross annually for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement.
