What We Want

The Sr. Athletic Assistant is responsible for providing assistance with coordinating all recruiting operations activities throughout the year, maintaining up-to-date prospective student-athlete profiles and maintaining up to date recruiting boards as assigned.

Salary: Commensurate based on selected candidates experience.

Travel required with assigned sport.

Ability to work flexible hours (nights, weekends and holidays) as required to complete assigned duties.

Responsibilities

  • RECRUITING OPERATIONS: Assists with coordinating all recruiting efforts (game days activities, official visits and unofficial visits, and other Men's Basketball recruiting events). Assists with the documentation of all forms related to Men's Basketball recruiting. 

  • FILM/EVALUATION PROCESS: Maintains up-to-date prospective student-athlete profiles and film profiles on behalf of assigned assistant coach(s). Serves as a liaison between assigned assistant coach(s) and video staff, providing specific video information and statistics as requested. Provides computer break down of video for prospective student-athlete.  Organizes and distributes all video. Maintains up-to-date recruiting board on behalf of assigned assistant coach(s). 

  • CAMP/CLINIC: Assists the Men's Basketball Camp Director with camp logistics. 

  • COMPLIANCE: Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations concerning student-athlete: conduct, appearance, road games, punctuality, and other areas as deemed appropriate. Maintains awareness of and supports the employee engagement initiatives of the Athletics Department. <
