At the core of the Snowdrop engine, we want to empower the developers. The Snowdrop engine, with its flexible and empowering tools, has helped develop a number of Ubisoft titles such as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Star Wars Outlaws, The Division and South Park.</p><p>The <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Graphics Programmer </strong>develops graphics functionalities within the engine to develop the best visuals possible.</p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><ul><li>Further development of our existing Snowdrop 3D-Engine in context of a AAA game</li><li>Improve the terrain and landscape rendering module</li><li>Enhance global illumination rendering and do general performance analysis and optimization on the graphics level</li><li>Collaborate with other game teams</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or any other relevant discipline</li><li>Strong skills in C++</li><li>Very good knowledge of advanced mathematics</li><li>Good debugging and problem solving skills</li><li>Ability &amp; desire to work as a team player</li><li>Self-direction and motivation</li><li>Strong ability for analysing and extending existing code</li><li>Ability to collaborate with artists on graphics techniques</li><li>Knowledgeable in a variety of special FX techniques and the latest rendering algorithms</li><li>Excellent communication and good English skills</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul><li>DirectX-knowledge</li><li>Compute shader experience</li><li>Experience in working on projects with multi-threaded rendering</li><li>Knowledge about procedural generation of game content</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><u><strong>Your benefits:</strong></u></p><ul><li><strong>Relocation Support: </strong>We offer financial support in form of a cash allowance and assistance with accommodation search and settle-in support via our relocation partner, for international candidates we offer visa assistance </li><li><strong>Ubisoft Blue Byte Academy:</strong> We offer multiple opportunities for you to discover your full potential and develop yourself in various areas.
