Bartender - TAP Sports Bar (Union) (MGM National Harbor)

THE JOB:  

As our exceptional Bartender, your goal is to become a menu expert—from premium liquors and craft beers to enticing non-alcoholic options. But it doesn't stop there! Beyond mixing drinks, you'll create memorable experiences with a warm smile that brightens every corner.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:  

• Make and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed  

•   Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar by regularly cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies. Ensure all equipment is in excellent working order  

• Familiar with a wide range of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections offered

• Efficiently process payments for poured or served beverages, ensuring accurate ringing up of orders. Adhere to rigorous cash handling protocols and variance procedures, including the meticulous preparation of daily reports and submission of necessary paperwork

• Keep the bar inventory in check by adhering to established pars and internal controls. Regularly request products to ensure the bar remains well-stocked at all times

• Can work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

• Is at least 21 years of age or older

• Has 1+ years of experience as a Bartender

• Can work under pressure

• Displays amazing customer service skills

• Has knowledge of beer, liquor, and wine

THE STARTING RATE:

• $14.33/ Hour

THE HOURS OF OPERATIONS:

• Sunday to Thursday: 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM

• Friday to Saturday: 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM ​ ​
