Senior Cloud System Administrator

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Cloud System Administrator who has familiarity with configuration management and engineering life-cycle best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and documenting system configurations (Win 2016/2019 & RHEL 7/8)
- Hardening systems to meet security standards
- Maintaining COTS & GOTS software
- Sustaining production systems (i.e., firewalls, file servers, security monitoring systems, etc.) that serve many end users
- Interfacing with customers in writing and via telephone to provide technical guidance designed to quickly resolve reported problems
- Attending meetings as required
- Experience coordinating tasks amongst disparate systems to maintain project schedule
- Coordinate team member activities.
Here is what you need:
- 4-5 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities
- 5 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties
- Experience supporting a cloud environment (AWS preferred) to include delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues
- Experience in a DevSecOps environment (e.g., working with configuration management tools, applying automation & infrastructure as code concepts)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, or 4 years of equivalent professional or military experience can be used in lieu of degree requirements
Bonus points if you have:
- PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting experience
- Jira Service Management & JQL
- Microsoft Identity & Access Management Configuration experience
- Familiarity with Group Policy Object Management
- Working knowledge of Certificate/CA/PKI Infrastructure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain a Polygraph.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
