As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a healthcare location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all staff, visitors, and patients. You will be expected to respond promptly to any security-related concerns, assist with access control, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
