About the role

Ring Marketing is seeking an experienced Senior Creative Marketing Manager to join our growing Integrated Marketing team. Senior Creative Marketing Managers are responsible for planning and guiding retail campaigns from inception to delivery, through the creative lifecycle, including initial scope & WBS development to ultimately delivering the final design outputs. This role will be responsible for independently managing all Ring retail marketing assets, in addition to creative assets for events such as booth design. The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, will be able to navigate ambiguous situations, and will be skilled at assessing and managing risks, understand and communicate priorities to various stakeholders, and will be able to manage a high-volume of end-to-end creative workflows cross-functionally.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading high-impact retail marketing campaigns (inclusive of offline and digital channels) for large scale brands. They will be able to translate broad ideas and concepts into actionable project plans and will be responsible for partnering with creative and production teams to determine realistic schedules and campaign handoff dates in order to meet desired campaign launch dates. They will directly manage the design team workflow and reviews.

This Senior Creative Marketing Manager role will oversee all retail marketing projects, scoping for the year ahead, assigning creative resources as needed and working with external partners. This role will also be responsible for contributing to the ongoing optimization of our operating model, including driving process improvements and iterating on the ways in which the marketing team works. This is inclusive of identifying areas of friction in the current process, helping to define solutions that work for all cross-functional teams, as well as documenting and helping to rollout new processes.

This is a high visibility, cross-functional role, collaborating with and managing stakeholders across Channel, Brand, Product Marketing, Public Relations, Legal, Product, Sales (including E-commerce, Channel, Amazon.com), Dev/Engineering, and Finance among others.


Key job responsibilities
- Manage creative process for retail campaigns through the entire creative lifecycle: planning, creative, production, delivery, and final handoff/implementation.
- Manage external creative vendor including scoping and billing
- Create timelines that allow for enough flexibility for the design process and unexpected situations that may occur throughout the project.
- Oversee all retail campaign projects, scoping for the year ahead, assigning resources as needed and working with external partners.
- Create, maintain, and disseminate all project documentation, including creative briefs, strategic plans, status reports, deliverables list, timelines and post-project retrospectives to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Management of information to and from the design and production teams.
- Review creative assets for accuracy prior to review by the cross functional teams.
- Set, lead and attend stakeholder review meetings and vet/deliver feedback to the creative team.
- Coordinate deliverables managed directly by other teams that impact and/or contribute to final project deliverables for assigned projects and ensure that the deliverables will be complete on time.
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks and escalate the senior management for visibility and be able to proactively problem solve and provide solutions to unexpected issues that arise, in order to keep projects on track.
- Work with Head of Marketing Operations to develop, maintain, communicate and train internal teams and external resources/teams on design process.
- Ensure highest standards are achieved, processes are continually improved, and results are delivered.

Basic Qualifications


- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
