Senior Manager, Accounting Transformation

Job Description

As Senior Manager of Accounting Transformation, you will have the primary objective of identifying areas for improvement within the organization, recommending solutions to address each area, and implementing those solutions while coordinating across all departments. The Senior Manager of Accounting Transformation is also responsible for the improvement of internal controls in safeguarding the assets of the company and being a business partner to the organization, providing information and data to support business decisions.

You Will:

• Lead ATPCO’s automated reporting efforts by overseeing the successful incorporation of Workday initiative tags at the purchase requisition level
• Document the finance process from procurement through reporting
• Increase focus on intercompany reports with the Project, Core, and Tech teams
• Review the order-to-cash cycle and recommend process improvements, including the billing system overhaul
• Recommend, implement, and follow all accounting policies within set methods of implementations and guidelines as per US GAAP and company policy
• Maintain compliance with in-country statutory, governance, and tax reporting requirements for subsidiaries and divisions
• Determine appropriate technical accounting treatments and prepare white papers supporting positions and designs while implementing appropriate accounting policies to support treatment
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of the internal control environment, including correction of deficiencies and implementation of suggested improvements
• Maintain effective checks and controls over financial functions
• Seek out areas for optimization and improvement and proactively engage in implementing solutions, workflows, and processes that drive productivity and efficiency
• Provide day to day management of Procurement team
• Marketing of the Finance and Procurement teams, via ATPCO’s internal intranet

The Ideal Candidate:

• Accounting Degree and CPA required
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Prior accounting experience in being an assistant controller or controller
• Strong expertise in Excel
• Experience in managing the billing, collections, and accounts payable operations is a plus
• System implementation experience is preferred
• Public Accounting background is preferred
