ABOUT THE TEAM

We are building the future of situational awareness. Our Sentry platform integrates robotics, autonomy, hardware, and software to deliver mission-critical capabilities in defense and security, with an expanding footprint into commercial markets. As a member of the Counter Intrusion Business Development team, you will operate at the cutting edge of autonomous ground detection platforms seeking out new opportunities to grow the business across all established and new lines of effort.

We are seeking an Manager, Business Development, Counter Intrusion  to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, working in a cutting-edge start-up environment to advance the state-of-the-possible in border security, critical infrastructure protection, and integrated base defense capabilities.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Opportunity Identification & Growth: Support the Sentry portfolio's Business Lines (e.g., specific Sentry product categories) through various internal and external activities to identify new opportunities, improve pricing analytics, and drive business growth.
  • Client & Market Analysis: Analyze and understand existing and prospective customer bases to inform capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and contribute to technology development plans for the Sentry portfolio in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Internal Coordination & Communication: Coordinate activities across the Sentry team and facilitate internal communications, including shaping and preparing customer outreach and engagements related to Sentry products.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner across Anduril organizations, including Marketing and Communications, Product and Engineering, Government Relations, Program Management, Proposal, Finance, and Business Operations, to successfully support and update on Sentry-related opportunities and captures.
  • Pipeline Management: Actively contribute to business line growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, in addition to maintaining and managing an up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline, ensuring clear visibility of potential Sentry opportunities and progress.
  • External Representation: Represent Anduril and the Sentry portfolio to a broad audience including clients, partners, competitors, and interested public. Convey insights that illustrate our approach to building next-generation defense technology and our competitive advantages within the Sentry domain.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High-ownership, low-ego teammate, approaching everything with strong outcome orientation and high humility.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple complex and technical projects related to defense technology and sales cycles.
  • Excellent writer and communicator, able to clearly articulate information to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to senior clients.
  • Fast learner who thrives in a dynamic environment with a desire to grow within the company.
  • You have experience working in defense and with government clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, managing, and updating sales pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or equivalent methods.
  • Proven understanding of the defense market, including customer acquisition processes, key stakeholders, and typical procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel 25 – 75%.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
