Compensation
The compensation target for this role is: $85,000 - $100,000Job Summary
The Warehouse manager will be responsible for managing specific departments within the building. This could include inventory, Waste Management, Receive, Warehouse, fulfilment, other, or multiple operational (non-production) areas.Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coach, manage, and develop a team of between 20-50 Associates
Communicate policies to your team and act as the primary information source for the team -maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
Create, manage, and support recognition programs
Maintain all Standard work is both updated, designed, and implemented.
Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
Maintain all timecards for all associates.
Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention
Partner with senior management team to establish and maintain quality control standards as well as KPI’s for departments.
Develop performance goals and targets to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality
Owns all inventory controls and materials movements processes for the warehouse and is responsible to design, improve, enforce, train, audit, troubleshoot, and report on both.
Is responsible for the successful completion of regular full inventory counts, leading the preparation and execution of each count.
Works with the Manufacturing Controller and the accounting group to meet all auditor expectations regarding inventory and inventory controls within the warehouse.
Works directly with warehouse supervisors, leads, and staff to execute daily team responsibilities including shipping, receiving, materials movements, cycle counting, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Work with production management to set Kanban levels for raw materials and component goods and ensure Kanban’s are maintained at established levels.
Works with representatives from all other departments to discover needs that can be met by the warehouse team
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 - 7 years warehouse and or operations
