Position Summary: 

• Assists Rad Tech in performing radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician (which may include DEXA scans).  

• Assists with setting up the room for each patient which includes setting up the table, equipment, and technical parameters accurately.  

• Prepares patients for diagnostic x-ray procedures. In doing so, escorts patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provides verbal and written instructions and assists patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed. Ensures safety procedures and universal precautions are used at all times.
