World Electric is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Starting Rate: Competitive hourly rate with full benefits package
Job Description: As a World Electric Lead Warehouse Associate, you will facilitate moving product throughout the warehouse through the use of equipment in areas such as Receiving, Stocking, Shipping, Order Processing and Replenishment. Your responsibilities will include operating equipment in a safe manner, while making sure that you are maintaining a safe and clean working area and ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. You will also be assisting with responsibilities on the Shipping Desk related to verifying and staging of all outgoing materials. The responsibilities listed below are encompassing of a Lead Warehouse Associate, but not limited to these areas:
- Verify correct quantities and items for all sections.
- Sorts and places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
- Box up and label material.
- Stage product accordingly for delivery, ensuring all product for the order has been verified for accuracy against the purchase order.
- Know the routes the branch routes well and know the capabilities and limitations for shipping/delivery of products to customers in a timely manner.
- Assist with overseeing outbound/outgoing inspections (when required), keeping shipping records, and forwarding relevant information to pertinent parties.
- Construct orders based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.
- Make local deliveries, as needed.
- Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
