As a Process & Data Specialist at Envalior, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving the quality, completeness, and consistency of SAP master data. This includes key master data elements such as materials, customers, vendors, contracts, BOMs, pricing, rebates, and more. Your focus will ensure accurate and timely SAP business process execution, uninterrupted order flow, and reliable reporting in Business Warehouse/Power BI. In this role, you will challenge master data content as needed, adapt processes to meet evolving business needs, and drive automation to improve efficiency. Additionally, you will evaluate and take over business user activities, implement mass data changes, and ensure governance of master data processes globally.

You will make key contributions to Envalior

• Coordinate and facilitate the operational SAP master data workflow process (create / change / delete) over the various departments/persons, to secure quality of the data, progress of the workflow and adherence to the internal control requirements. This allows the Envalior business processes to operate correctly and in a responsive manner. Unauthorized master data changes outside the workflow are monitored through IRIS and ICF reporting. In special cases mass uploads of master data will be done via specific upload tools.
• Checks of master data and tables on quality, completeness and consistency to assure the reliability of the SAP business processes and reporting tools. Regular cleaning of obsolete SAP master data elements. Points 1) and 2) lead to less manual interference, thus reducing operational costs and inventory reduction.
• Running simple and complex queries on the SAP database as ad hoc reporting to support the business in optimization projects.
• Ensure the governance of master data is setup in a proper way and that it will remain hardwired in the tooling used to manage the master data (in most cases the master data workflow system). Align with master data owners on criteria and frequency to clean up non used master data objects (like customers, vendors and materials)
• Train master data owners in the management and understanding of their master data as part of the overall master data workflow globally.
• Maintain procedures and instructions and continuous improvement of the master data workflow, to assure an up to date workflow process. Defining new workflows when applicable.
• Align with business users on the activities to be performed in every step in the process. Convince the business users to harmonize the way of working globally. Discuss actions needed to take over the activities by the process and data team where possible and applicable. As next steps start standardizing and automating the activities.
• The jobholder supports various projects actively. Make sure that the business processes that are developed are aligned with the corresponding master data processes. The specific master data improvement projects are managed by the jobholders themselves.
• Implementation of the Master data workflow process within Envalior. Assist with the preparation of procedures, instructions, workflow process and other tools before implementation. Train master data users in the new master data workflow processes.
• Set up specific quality checks per master data owner and MDA and integrate these in the relevant tools to secure ongoing quality checks. Train the master data users in performing their quality checks.
• When a certain activity has been taken over from business user and fully automated, another activity will be appointed to pick up with same intention to automate. This can be in or (partly) outside assigned business process. In this way the content of the role keeps on changing over time.

Requirements

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in SCM or relevant field.
