- Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
- Coordinates, develops, and implements annual direct marketing plan.
- Responsible for overseeing all direct marketing efforts using the player tracking system.
- Manages and coordinates daily marketing promotions and game-level special events.
- Responsible for manipulation of database, evaluation, and testing of plans established within direct marketing plan.
- Maintains and develops customer tags, prize codes, and promotion codes in the Casino Marketplace Program to ensure effective analysis of marketing programs.
- Oversees the creation of marketing and advertising collateral associated with promotions and/or special events.
- Acts as a liaison with the Slot Department in monitoring the usage of E-promo dollars to maintain financial compliance.
- Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan and the creation of the marketing budget.
- Works closely with all members of Marketing Staff including Player Development and Player’s Club to ensure programs are effectively coordinated and communicated.
- Supervises and participates in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training process for departmental personnel.
- Ensures that staff evaluations are accurate, completed timely, and detailed.
- Maintains liaison with the MIS Department as it relates to approval of implementing direct marketing programs into the Casino Marketplace System.
- Maintains liaison with the Delaware State Lottery Commission for all marketing activities.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of direct marketing or related experience.
- Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintains confidentiality with regard to employee concerns and sensitive department information.
- Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, customer relations, and effective communications skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal, and/or demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
- Experience and/or exposure to long-term planning and proposals to senior management a plus.
- Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
