Salary Range starting at: $350/Week
Job Objective:
The Program Coordinator will facilitate the provision of camp programs and recreational activities to campers through direct teaching and facilitation. Additionally responsible for the care, set up and maintenance of all camp activity resources, supplies and equipment.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating the summer camp programming and recreational activities, including, but not limited to:
- Arts & Crafts
- Sports & Games
- Ropes Course
- Outdoor education & activities
- Recreational activities like archery, paintball, and air rifles.
- Responsible to set up various camp recreation venues, according to the camp schedule. Ensure that all equipment is available and in good working order.
- Provide on-going training in each activity area to staff members assigned to facilitate.
- Facilitate the above activities as requested, with assistance from designated staff assigned to each area, according to the schedule.
- Make sure that each area is properly taken down, cleaned, repaired, and stored properly after each use.
- Lead programs/classes as assigned.
- Maintain the camp camera, storage of camp photos, delegate photography duties to designated staff, and take pictures of camp activities as available.
- Assist at camper registration.
- Ensure that staff members and leaders have all the supplies needed for their classes.
- Maintain an inventory of all activity supplies and develop the system for requesting supplies and signing them out to camp staff and other leaders.
- Maintain cleanliness of supply storage area in Admin work room.
- Participate and assist as assigned in all camp activities.
- Comply with camp policies.
- Observe the spiritual emphasis of camp.
- Keep living quarters clean and neat at all times.
- Practice courtesy in sharing living space with other camp staff members.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Participate in staff meetings, evaluation sessions and devotion times.
- Must carry radio while camp is in session on your person.
