Senior Director of Clinical Services

Marrakech, Inc. is seeking a passionate, experienced Senior Director of Clinical Services to provide strategic leadership for our DMHAS-funded Residential Services programs, including Young Adult Services (YAS), community-based supports, and the Mental Health Waiver Program. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services that empower individuals to achieve greater independence, stability, and success in the community.
This position is ideal for a strong clinical leader who excels in program development, staff supervision, quality improvement, and systems management while fostering a culture of recovery, person-centered care, and trauma-informed practice.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Program Oversight
• Provide strategic leadership and clinical direction across DRS and YAS programs.
• Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services for young adults and adults with behavioral health needs.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services.
• Lead admissions processes and collaborate with DMHAS and West Haven Community Mental Health Center (WH CMHC) regarding referrals, admissions, and transitions.
Staff Supervision & Development
• Supervise the Director of Community Services and YAS Case Managers.
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain staff competencies in trauma-informed care, behavioral support, and person-centered practices.
• Create and deliver training programs on behavioral health, ARC trauma-informed practices, and documentation standards.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Monitor documentation, ETO/DDAP reporting, outcomes, and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with DMHAS, CARF, and agency standards.
• Conduct audits, review data, identify trends, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee accurate and timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and case management documentation.
Clinical & Community Collaboration
• Serve as a liaison with psychiatrists, clinicians, therapists, nurses, and community providers.
• Participate in clinical reviews, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Support the development of recovery-oriented programming that promotes life skills, independence, and community inclusion.
Qualifications
Required
• Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of residential behavioral health experience.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in the behavioral health field.
• Experience working within a trauma-informed program.
Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience working with young adults in residential or transitional living settings.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
• Familiarity with DMHAS-funded services and behavioral health regulations.
• Experience with quality improvement, program development, and performance monitoring

SALARY
• $58,295/yr. Rate increases to $64,584/yr, after 6 months.
