The Halsey Mill is roughly 30 minutes from the college towns of Corvallis and Eugene, and 90 miles south of Portland, OR giving abundant options for regional attractions and forms of entertainment. Come join our team!</span></p><p><strong><span>What You Will Do</span></strong><span></span></p><ul><li><span>Embrace influential leadership to support the organization while advancing our Principle-Based Management (PBM) culture</span></li><li><span>Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality in converting operations</span></li><li><span>Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and reduce waste</span></li><li><span>Provide technical guidance and support to the converting team, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal machine performance</span></li><li><span>Lead and mentor a team of technicians and operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety</span></li><li><span>Conduct training sessions to enhance the skill set of the team</span></li><li><span>Oversee projects related to new equipment installation, upgrades, and process optimization</span></li><li><span>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.</span></li><li><span>Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations</span></li><li><span>Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement</span></li><li><span>Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive performance</span></li></ul><p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Basic Qualifications </span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing environment, including supervising and developing technical staff.</span></li><li><span>Hands-on expertise in paper converting (tissue/towel) and solid knowledge of paper manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards.</span></li><li><span>Strong technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, including leading root‑cause analysis (RCA) and resolving operational issues.</span
