Where you’ll be:

This position will be fully remote within the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.

All about the role:

The Appliance Repair Technician role resides within Electrolux’s Group Consumer Direct Interaction organization. The CDI organization supports our consumers by joining them through the entire consumer journey. After consumers purchase our products the Appliance Repair Technician team improves the daily lives of our consumers by providing mechanical support for their in-home appliances.

What you’ll do:

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will have the opportunity to be an Electrolux brand ambassador working directly with our consumers. You will travel to consumers’ homes by company vehicle to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair the full line of Electrolux and Frigidaire appliances.

In detail, you will:

• Strive to complete repairs in one trip while delivering high customer satisfaction results.

• Diagnose and repair all types of Frigidaire and Electrolux appliances, including ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, range hoods, refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers.

• Use Electrolux systems and apps on an iPad and iPhone to assist with repairs, ordering of parts, processing service tickets, and completing all required internal paperwork and training.

• Maintain an inventory of parts on assigned vehicle and minimize cost through proficient inventory control.

• Follow company policy, procedures, and best practices needed to be the best techs in the business.

• Keep service van and company provided tools clean, organized, up to date on all service needs.

• Look professional, including wearing clean and serviceable company provided uniforms.

Physical demands:

The employee frequently is required to drive, walk, sit, and stand. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50lbs. and/or move up to 100lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience with electro-mechanical repair or equivalent education experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Electrolux policy.

• Professional oral and written communication skills.

• Enjoys working within a growing organization and team oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with home appliance repairs

• Proficient in Sealed System Repairs with EPA refrigeration license preferred
