Summary of Position
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Revenue and Operations to drive the financial heartbeat of Teladoc. In this leadership role, you'll be at the helm of all revenue-related and accounts receivable (A/R) functions, guiding a talented team across Billing, Order Management, Client Management Solution Delivery, and A/R operations, including Cash Collections and Applications.

This role is open to working 100% remote within the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for revenue recognition policies and procedures are in conformance with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, other pertinent authoritative literature, and the company’s established policies.
- Draft and/or review accounting memos, 606 contract reviews and positions related to significant, complex, and/or non-standard agreements / transactions and work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including legal department to ensure deals are accretive and to provide conclusions, resolutions, and recommendations.
- Responsible for accuracy and propriety of journal entries, revenue accruals, account reconciliations, and all allowance accounts and analyses.
- Responsible for the monthly and quarterly revenue close process, including assurance of accurate and timely results in our ERP and all related boundary systems. Review significant, complex, and/or non-standard entries, credit memos and adjustments in the GL.
- Manage the quarterly reviews and annual revenue audit which includes PBCs and related analyses within the deadline.
- Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 requirement as related to revenue recognition, ERP, and boundary systems. Business owner of the SOX narrative, workflow, and relevant key controls.
- Responsible for OTC and related revenue KPIs, performance metrics, executive and management reporting dashboards, and operating targets.
- Will be managing and leading a team comprised of Director, Manager, and Staff.
- Analyze revenue results to explain the drivers and changes in the Balance Sheet and P&L. Assist FP&A in their forecasting.
- Lead the Revenue Close Process Improvement and Transformation projects.
- Foster, build and manage productive, initiative-taking business partnerships with cross-functional internal organizations including Sales, Revenue Cycle Management (claims), Client Success, Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology & Development, Corporate FP&A, Legal and IT.
- Work cross-functionally within the organization on new initiatives and special projects such as evolving revenue models, strategic partnership programs and new product launches.

Required Qualifications Expected for Position
- 10+ years’ experience in accounting with a publicly traded company.
- Experience working within a healthcare organization.
- Experience with complex 606 revenue recognition transactions.
- Excellent knowledge of financial and other related systems (ERP, Oracle, Salesforce)
- A thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience developing and building global teams
- Ability to communicate technical accounting requirements to a non-technical audience.
- Must have a Solution Delivery mindset in identifying, resolving, and/or partnering in issues and any companywide initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications Expected for Position
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or Finance, or a bachelor’s in science with related Accounting/Finance professional experience.
