Senior Buyer - GTS Indirect Procurement

Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to shape our sourcing strategy, leading Request for Proposals (RFPs), negotiating contract renewals, and managing new supplier contracts. You should be well-versed in contract law and Indirect procurement specifics, enabling you to confidently negotiate contract terms and conditions. You should have documented procurement expertise in at least one of following areas: IT, Property, Corporate</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute sourcing strategies</li><li>Take the lead in the entire RFP process, from creation to evaluation and negotiation</li><li>Negotiate contract renewals and Statements of Work with existing suppliers.</li><li>Negotiate new contracts with prospective suppliers</li><li>Exhibit expertise in contract law. </li><li>Provide support for supplier relationship management, particularly for key suppliers</li><li>Contribute to the development of category plans</li><li>Demonstrate exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse perspectives to reach consensus.</li><li>Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, finite resources, and uncertainty</li><li>Mandatory language skills in English, with Spanish language proficiency considered beneficial</li><li>Be prepared for occasional travel to other locations as required</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u></strong></p><ul><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills</li><li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills</li><li>Sound financial analytical skills and a good understanding of contract law</li><li>Minimum of 5 years experience in  procurement, with a proven track record in managing strategic sourcing and supplier management</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Awareness of regulation and legislation on the markets involved</li><li>Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team/remote environment</li><li>A proven team player with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to prioritize deliverables in line with organizational strategy</li><li>Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Experience with SAP and Ariba is a plus</li><li>Completely literate in the English language</li><li>Timezone adjustment may be required when working on Global projects</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications and Certifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>Educated to degree level or equivalent</li></ul><ul><li>CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS qualification or related field will be an asset</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br/> <br/> · The chance to enjoy a challenging career in an exciting, fast-moving environment in a dynamic industry<br/> · The opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment with great offices in many locations.
