Finance Intern - Summer

Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting/Finance Intern at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.

The function of the Summer Intern is to develop the skills/capabilities necessary to perform as a long-term, fulltime employee within the Finance organization at Fincantieri Marinette Marine or within the Fincantieri Marine Group. In fulfilling this function he/she will assist the various functions within the Finance department and throughout FMM with special assignments, becoming familiar with Marinette Marine standards and enabling him/her to fulfill the internship requirement for his/her school and/or resume.

Sample Projects Include:
*Updating Excel spreadsheets as they relate to Finance
*Updating Budget Books
*Creating Ad Hoc Excel spreadsheets
*Help validate data within the business system

Qualified applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent and currently be enrolled in a college or university program working towards a Finance or Accounting degree. Comprehension of Microsoft Office programs is required. Must be highly proficient in Excel. Solid communication skills are required.
