Job Description:

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Immunization Program in Portland, Oregon has a fantastic career opportunity for an Oregon Immunization Program School Law Systems Business Analyst (Operations & Policy Analyst 3) to provide subject matter expertise and business analysis of school immunization IT projects, and provide training and technical and educational assistance to school immunization partners, such as student information systems, local public health, schools, and childcares.

This is a full-time, limited duration position and is represented by a union. The duration of this position is expected to last up to 24 months(6/2026). Limited duration positions are benefit eligible. This recruitment may be used to establish a list of qualified candidates to fill current or future vacancies.

What will you do?
 

This position will consult with Immunization Program management, the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Department of Justice, Local Public Health Authorities (LPHAs), schools, districts and other partners. The main IT projects include working with school district student information systems to ensure accurate assessment and reporting and leading a new modernized system for use by LPHAs, childcare facilities, schools, student information systems across Oregon. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of new IT projects by development, testing, and maintenance of IT projects impacting the Oregon Immunization Program (OIP) school law team. This position works in tandem with the school law team to develop new policies and practices, train, and ensure compliance with school and childcare immunization laws in Oregon.
