POSITION SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Technological Infrastructure will oversee the design, implementation, and management of the company's IT infrastructure. This leadership role requires a visionary leader who can align technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring the organization remains competitive and efficient in its operations.

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the technological infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and business objectives.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee all IT infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology infrastructure budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost management.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to technology infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of technology infrastructure and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand their technological needs and provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact on the organization and recommending appropriate adoption strategies.

Requirements

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

· Proven track record of managing large-scale technology projects and teams.

· Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management.

· Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Experience with budget management and financial forecasting in a technology context
