Your Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and lead detailed project plans in collaboration with internal teams and vendors to meet defined outcomes
• Manage scope, schedule, quality, and risk across three project phases
• Drive stakeholder engagement, change management, and vendor coordination to ensure effective implementation
• Collaborate on integrations with GIS, financial, and cash receipting systems
• Facilitate governance meetings, track budgets, and maintain full project transparency through reports and documentation
• Ensure successful transition plans, data integrity, and minimal system customization
• Manage RAID logs and status reporting while escalating risks as necessary

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 5+ years of experience leading systems replacement projects
• Proven track record using waterfall and incremental project methodologies
• Strong independent working ability with excellent organizational and relationship-building skills
• Experience creating clear, actionable project documentation and managing vendor partnerships

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing implementation of a license and permitting platform
• Project management experience in state, county, or city governments, or nonprofit environments
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Bilingual or diverse background candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s degree plus 5 additional years of experience)
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
