The Role
Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products and forms part of the juice portfolio – operating five days a week, 24 hours a day. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Team Leader, this role is to ensure all packaging functions are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner and for delivering product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste in the correct quantity when it is required.
This role works Night shift 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday. You must be happy working permanent night shift.
Responsibilities
Operating production machines and performing changeover processes.
Working effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime
Reporting safety incidents and maintenance requirements
Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards
Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures
About you
Experience in a manufacturing /warehouse environment is desired
Mechanical mindset with basic computer literacy skills
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Problem Solving Skills
Forklift Licence – Good to have.
