What you`ll do

Enterprise Architects play a crucial role in orchestrating the development of a holistic enterprise architecture model that supports established enterprise goals. SAP has strategically decided to significantly invest in an SAP Enterprise Architecture Advisory Team.

 

Primarily, the role of the Enterprise Architects is to guide our key SAP clients in the NA region on their SAP transformation journey, especially those initiating a RISE with SAP transition.

 

Our approach starts by comprehending their existing Enterprise Architecture (supported by tools like LeanIX or SAP Signavio), and then guide them towards a North Star target architecture state. This ideal target architecture aligns their strategy and required business capabilities with SAP’s solutions and adheres to a Clean Core backed by SAP's Business Technology Platform.

 

To support this approach, we utilize reliable and proven Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks. With our approach we help SAP’s customers achieve their strategic goals by enhancing their business transformation with our perspective on Enterprise Architecture and SAP’s North Star target architecture. This will facilitate innovation and the adoption of new business models and technologies, thus increasing the acceptance and usage of SAP’s solution portfolio.

What you bring

Must-have requirements/skills:

• At least 15 years of work experience in a customer experience role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect).
• 5 years of work experience as Enterprise Architect with experience:
  • delivering Enterprise Business Transformation through Application Delivery
  • end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes delivering enterprise Architecture Vision, Business Architecture content, Application & Data Architecture content, Roadmap, Technology & Platform architecture, and Governance.
• Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles as well as the usage of SAP LeanIX & Signavio as tools to document Enterprise Architectures & Business Processes.
• Industry-specific knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Consumer Goods, Retail, Discrete Manufacturing, Process & Life Science Industries, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Professional Services, Public Sector etc.
• Professional Training & Certification: TOGAF and any of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023]

• S/4HANA Application or/and SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge/experience
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills at C-Level, senior manager level both inside an IT team and across business functions.
