Job Overview:
As a Traveling Cook, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals and supporting kitchen operations across multiple client locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including Ewing, Bridgewater, and Warren. While your primary responsibilities will focus on food preparation and kitchen support, your barista experience will allow you to assist with café operations and beverage service when needed, providing essential coverage across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality, scratch-made meals for daily service and catered events.
• Assist with kitchen prep and production according to Dartcor’s culinary standards.
• Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen, ensuring all sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
• Support pantry restocking, including items like coffee, milk, and condiments.
• Use your barista experience to provide café coverage when required, including basic coffee service and customer interaction.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
• Travel to various client sites as needed, offering flexible, high-quality support.
• Collaborate with culinary and hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting.
• Barista experience required—must be comfortable handling basic espresso machines and beverage service.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Adaptable and able to work efficiently in different environments and team structures.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between client locations.
