Course: U.S. and Arizona Constitutions for Teacher Candidates

Candidates examine the United States Constitution, and the constitution of the State of Arizona. From this foundational review, candidates will explore application of the United States Constitution and the constitution of the State of Arizona in educational contexts.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Doctorate in Political Science OR
  • Government OR
  • Legal Studies OR
  • JD
  • AND coursework in the US Constitution and the Arizona Constitution
• Exceptions may be granted to individuals with a Doctorate in any field possessing 9 graduate credits in the US Constitution or Arizona Constitution AND has substantial teaching experience
