Associate Narrative Designer

Hasbro's Gaming organization is looking to add a creative and collaborative Associate Narrative Designer to our rockstar team!
In this role, you would be working closely with a Mid-Level Narrative Designer or Senior Narrative Designer to craft on-brand copy as part of the Gaming Product Design team, working across the games portfolio. This would include writing package copy, game rules, and game content. You would work with an outstanding cross-functional team of Graphic Designers, Game Designers, Engineers, Project Managers and Product Managers to bring new, exciting games to market.

A day in the life of an Associate Narrative Designer…
- Brainstorm themes, story, and tone to drive narrative-based game experiences
- Write compelling and on-brand package copy, including names and taglines
- Collaborate with Game Designers to develop, test, and refine gameplay and then craft accurate, accessible game rules and reference material
- Create engaging, audience-centric card content
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce on-trend, on-brand packaging, unboxing experiences, and communication
- Complete editorial tasks like research, fact-checking, and managing copy documents
- Be an active, creative member of a cross-functional team, participating in product brainstorms and status meetings
- Be prepared for the unexpected, have fun every day, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and of course, play lots of games!

- A love of games
- Bachelors of Arts in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent related experience required
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a copy writing or editorial position in consumer products, magazine/book publishing, or related fields
- Knowledge of information design is a plus
