Looking for your next big leadership challenge? We are hiring a Division Director here at Pima County Consolidated Justice Court with the ability to collaboratively navigate overall court operations. We need a dynamic, results-driven professional to oversee strategy, scale operations, and drive growth.

This position plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates the overall operations and case processing activities of the Pima County Consolidated Justice Court and Ajo Justice Court. Directs the operations and case processing functions. Under the guidance of the Presiding Judge of the Pima County Superior Court and the Deputy Court Administrator of Pima County Consolidated Justice Court and Ajo Justice Court, anticipates, prevents and resolves various issues relating to court operations. May represent or serve as the Deputy Court Administrator, in their absence when requested.

This is a classified position that reports to the Deputy Court Administrator, Pima County Consolidated Justice Court. This position performs duties under limited supervision and directs and supervises the work of court operations; case processing managers, supervisors and work units for the Pima County Consolidated Justice Court and the Ajo Justice Court.

Hiring Salary Range $93,392 - $101,000

Range Explanation:

· Hiring Range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.

· The position is in pay grade 18, which may constitute a promotional opportunity for current county staff. Promotional increase will be determined at the time of offer.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public or business administration, criminal justice or a related field, and at least five years of professional experience in case processing or in a legal setting, including two years of management or supervisory experience Or, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training. Preference will be given to those candidates that have relevant case processing experience in a similar setting. 

Essential Duties & Functions:  

  • Direct the daily operation and work activities of assigned units and resolve issues related to the planning of the Court's calendar. 

  • Manage the operations and case processing units by directing managers and supervisors how to set priorities; effectively allocate resources and staff to workload assignments. 

  • Problem-solve issues regarding AGAVE case-tracking software functionality and/or data entry made by users internal and external to the court Verify continuous quality assurance of data and work with the Court’s information technology function to identify options and resolutions, when appropriate. 

  • Address case processing issues when the Deputy Court Administrator is absent; resolve operational/AGAVE
