As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Mariner by identifying, attracting, and delivering an extraordinary candidate experience. As one of the first Mariners a candidate connects with, the recruiter is instrumental in ensuring candidates have a positive experience that exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Manage critical pieces of the top of funnel recruitment process, including sourcing, qualifying, and screening.
  • Proactively source and engage top-tier talent, using innovative strategies and leveraging networks to build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Manage pipeline activity, providing recommendations for improving talent strategies based on data.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly recruiting metrics such as prospect to candidate conversion rate, prospect response rate, time in stage, candidates sourced, and other productivity metrics.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support business growth.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools, job boards, and social media platforms, as well as, attend conferences and networking events to enhance attraction efforts.
  • Foster an exceptional candidate experience that aligns with the Mariner brand.
  • Assist senior recruiters with scheduling interviews, sending candidate communications, and updating hiring managers.
Business Development
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand Mariner’s network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement business development strategies.
  • Represent Mariner at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership to negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage key business relationships.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to drive business growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, business development, or a related field.

 

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.
