About the role

Job Summary

The Strategic Projects & Corporate Development team partners with Nassau’s business units to lead key strategic initiatives and execute on M&A transactions. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on working experience supporting a cross-functional team, while developing relationships across the organization. The role will include, but not be limited to the following day-to-day needs and projects:     

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing and executing on potential M&A opportunities, and other strategic initiatives
  • Conduct industry research and competitor analysis
  • Support the team in managing the integration of recent acquisitions and other related projects
  • Assist in drafting presentations for senior management
  • Participate in due diligence and integration calls
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Management, or other related fields
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant internship experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently in fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
