The Sr. Treasury Analyst Works independently under close supervision, responsible for performing various cash disbursement and cash activities within the Corporate Treasury department. This position will be responsible for daily cash management of Avantor’s global cash pool and other corporate-controlled bank account balances, ensuring that all bank account balances, and activity are carefully monitored and reconciled each day so that Avantor’s collects, concentrates, disburses and invests excess daily cash in the most efficient manner possible using the Treasury Workstation and banking portals. This person will also monitor the opening and amending and closing of all global bank accounts. Provide accounting support within the Treasury module for various treasury related tasks.
This position reports to the Treasury Manager and is a hybrid role reporting to our corporate headquarters in Radnor, PA 3 times per week.
What we’re looking for
- Education: Bachelors degree, Business Administration with concentration in Finance preferred
- CTP/CCM preferred, or willing to obtain certification
- Experience: 5 years of Treasury related work experience
- Treasury Management System (TMS) experience; SAP preferred

How you will create an impact:
Global Responsibilities:
- Establish the current day cash position through the careful monitoring and control of all cash balances, including collection, concentration, disbursement and investment of available funds
- Review payments, with appropriate authorizations, initiate into banking software all disbursements requests
- Enter payments in the netting system all intercompany payments and 3rd party suppliers on behalf global entities
- Assist Accounting Department with information needed to maintain cash ledger
- Prepare for review by Treasury Manager all daily and monthly cash management reports
- Monitor and maintain Avantor’s global cash pool and other corporate-controlled bank account balances at appropriate levels considering the expected daily and weekly needs of Avantor’s various entities
- Gather data, update and distribute on a daily basis Avantor’s prior day global cash balance report to management along with a basic variance analysis of historical changes
- Investigate and resolve bank and payment issues
- Maintain global database of all Avantor bank accounts and account information for monitoring and audit purposes and maintain all signed bank account approval forms
- Maintain accounting entries in Treasury workstations for daily cash and month-end accruals.
- Compile, consolidate short-term free cash flow reporting.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform related work as required.
- Additional direct and indirect responsibilities may include Special Corporate Treasury project work and acting as sole backup for Sr Treasury Analyst.
- Work closely with Coimbatore, India Cash Management team to off-shore work as appropriate
