About Us:
Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR) provides Certified Investigation services for individuals with intellectual disabilities to administrative entities, supports coordination organizations, and providers. Certified Investigators conduct investigations related to incidents involving individuals with intellectual disabilities. These investigations are conducted according to the standards and procedures established by the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). The investigations are typically initiated due to allegations of abuse, neglect, or other significant events.
- Full-time position. Must work 40 hours/week
- Fully remote position but must be available to travel to investigations within region. Great for work/life balance!
- Travel mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate
- Hourly rate is $20 per hour
Come join our team as a Certified Investigator in York/Adams County, Pennsylvania. We are seeking a professional and self-motivated individual looking to make a difference. Certified Investigators are responsible for completing community-based investigations for allegations of harm or abuse to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must be currently or willing to become a Certified Investigator through the PA Office of Developmental Programs. ANR will pay for the training! Must be able to work independently, think critically, be highly organized, willing to travel regionally, and operate within mandated timeframes. Additional responsibilities are below.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current Certified Investigation status with Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).
- Maintain knowledge of the HCSIS, MyODP, EIM and E-System systems.
- Available and able to respond to and engage investigation processes within 24 hours.
- Understanding and implementing the Certified Investigative process independently.
- Serve as the lead Certified Investigator for assigned area but will provide back up support to other areas as needed.
- Ability to identify witnesses and conduct thorough and objective witness interviews.
- Ability to compile all relevant evidence into a comprehensive Certified Investigation Report.
- Ensure all forms of documentation are gathered to a complete evidence file.
- Maintain the highest level of ethical behavior and professionalism while conducting certified investigations.
- Ensure that technology is maintained and available for use while conducting investigations (camera on cellphone, cellphone and laptop).
- Willingness to provide coverage for initial assignment of cases.
- Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.
