What you will do:
This is a highly professional position that requires strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills. The qualified individual will serve a vital role across the state that will focus on successful implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) and will be the statewide subject matter expert and will provide consultation, coaching, training, and technical assistance to all FFPSA implementing partners.
How you will make an impact:
- Provides leadership and guidance for all prevention and FFPSA coordinate work with the DCF community Directors, community Based Care (CBC) Lead Agencies and Managing Entities (MEs) as the statewide point of contact and subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Established and Maintains integration with Lead agencies and international partners including SAMH, ESS, Quality/Licensing, and others.
- Analyzes out of home care data to identify opportunities for prevention service array development.
- Develops and maintains strategic plans to drive preventions performance and implementation of prevention/FFPSA programs and eliminate systemic barriers (existing or potential), in partnership with executive leaders across the system of care both internally and externally.
- Develops and implements the statewide prevention and sustainability plans, including updates too FFPSA Prevention Plan.
- Oversees policy interpretation and procedure development related to prevention/FFPSA.
- Coordinates with data team to t develop viable tracking Mechanism and prevention/FFPSA data.
- Facilitates statewide meetings and workshops to implement. Improve or effect statewide policy decisions related to prevention/FFPSA.
- Presents recommendations to leadership for best practice integration into policy and procedures, contract language requirements, training updates, as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field.
- Master Level in Social Work or related Field.
- 5 Years of Experience.
- Valid Driver License
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or related field.
- Experience in the principals and strategies of Prevention Services in the Child Welfare System
- Certified as a Child Welfare Professional.
- 5 Years of Experience providing or implementing prevention services in the child welfare system
