JOB SUMMARY

Overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation and presentation of takeoffs to sales rep/s to help answer questions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to perform all Estimator responsibilities
• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material sheets
• Submit and relevant RFI’s specific to door hardware scope
• Maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

• Experience with new construction market as well as bid and takeoff process
• Experience with Microsoft products – Word, Power Point, Excel, CRM, etc.
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to make educated decisions on the behalf of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions
• Hospitality experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills is imperative
• Must possess excellent mathematical and organizational skills
• Imperative is high level initiative, personally and professionally
• Must be possess an eye for attention to detail
• Required to perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks at a high level of accuracy
• Must possess a positive can do attitude
• Daily attendance and punctuality is required for this position
