(Senior) Educational Media Designer (f/m/d)

We’re looking for a Senior Educational Media Designer to join our Education team. As an Educational Media Designer, you will design and produce video, audio, and other instructional media content. You will be working alongside our Educational Media Lead and our instructional designers and curriculum editors to create learning content for a range of adult learners.

This is a full-time position based in Berlin, Germany. We are a remote-first company but will still have in-person meetings regularly when the health situation allows.

What you’ll work on:

• Identifying and developing media solutions to student needs
• Planning and owning complex educational media projects, including budgeting, subject matter expert and freelancer management, and quality control
• Outlining, scripting, shooting, and editing educational video content
• Working with cross-functional partners to draft, track, and report on OKRs
• Optimizing media production, and driving innovations that further improve the media component of the learning experience

Your background:

• Experience in and knowledge of instructional media content, learning theory, and current industry trends
• Expert knowledge of Adobe video production tools (particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects)
• Advanced skills in scriptwriting, as well as text, video, and audio editing
• Experience managing shoots on location
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage complex media production projects
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
