Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urology, Outpatient Procedure Center

The Department of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, currently has an outpatient clinical position available.  In this position, the Urology PA or NP will practice as a skilled member of the health care team that centers on the evaluation and intervention of general and oncologic urologic conditions.  Provision of care may include, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, administration of non-pharmacological therapies and patient education. APPs would actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. 

Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification, or eligible to be certified, as an ANP, ACNP, or FNP.

Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by the NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice.

The NP/PA must be eligible for DEA registration.
