What you’ll do
The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for accounts receivable, abandoned property reporting, bank account reconciliations, surcharge preparation for claims processing, processing of various banking transactions and other accounting tasks. This individual ensures all tasks and duties are completed accurately and timely. The Accounting Coordinator will interact with other employees, bank representatives, external vendors and others as required by the specific assigned tasks.
This is a full-time, on-site position located at our headquarters in Westborough, MA. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In this role, you’ll also:
- Reconcile FBO Bank Accounts
- Process invoices, check deposits, and wire payments
- Process manual and auto surcharges and post payments
- Return check batch completion
- Edit/reformat percent of savings files
- Perform check tracers
- Consolidate/research outstanding checks, send letters and coordinate voids and/or void and reissue when necessary
What you bring:
- 2+ years’ of experience in finance or banking
- Prior experience with accounts receivable and reconciliations
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Experience handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within timeframes and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
