This internship is for summer 2026. Our internships are full-time for 12 weeks, and we offer two program timelines to align with different academic calendars.
This internship will be located in Portland, OR. If not already in the internship city, candidates will be required to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Key Duties
- The primary area of focus is data management and assist the Maintenance Quality Assurance department.
- Daily responsibilities include data collection, data analysis, data entry, and project development.
- Develop tools for data collection to simplify analytical processes.
- Assist in streamlining pre and post-audit scheduling to aid in risk assessment.
- Research into known or suspected Maintenance department concerns, assisting in creating presentations, aid in reviewing manuals, and conducting audit research.
- Additional duties may involve interaction with other departments inside and outside of Maintenance.
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Aeronautics, Maintenance Analytics, Aviation Safety, Human Factors or a related field.
- Excellent communication and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, handle multiple tasks, problem-solving skills, and the ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Must read, write, and understand English.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
- Must have achieved a junior or higher academic standing at the time of application.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
- Exposure to aviation rules and regulations.
- Familiarity with database creation and maintenance.

Starting Rate
USD $25.00/Hr.Bonus
Total Rewards
Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air pay and benefits can vary by company, location, number of regularly scheduled hours worked, length of employment, and employment status.
