This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role you’ve been recruited for. If it isn’t obtained or is obtained but with caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role, any conditional offer made to you will be withdrawn. Obtaining SC security clearance can be a lengthy process, and we reserve the right to withdraw any conditional offer made if the necessary security clearance isn’t obtained within 12 months.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Join us as an Infrastructure Management Coordinator at Defence Munitions Kineton, one of the UK’s largest munitions depots, playing a vital role in supporting the storage and distribution of explosive ordnance for the British Armed Forces.

In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of infrastructure operations, offering expert advice and guidance across the site and engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to communicate key messages and coordinate events. As a valued member of our close-knit Infrastructure Management Team, you’ll become the pivotal point of contact for all infrastructure-related queries—trusted to resolve issues and consult with contractors and building custodians alike.

This is a full-time position, requiring on-site attendance between three to five days per week, depending on business needs and as agreed with the line manager. Please note that DM Kineton is situated in a remote location with limited public transport links, so alternative commuting arrangements may be necessary.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning Infrastructure works including both soft and hard facilities management tasks, consulting with stakeholders and contractors to ensure works meet key requirements.
  • Supporting Infrastructure projects ensuring estate improvements and changes are effectively implemented. Working collaboratively to establish requirements for all delivery tasks.
  • Managing reactive maintenance in conjunction with our on-site infrastructure partners and DM Kineton Building Custodians. Ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation.
  • Providing necessary Infra representation at a variety of estate meetings, including Site Infrastructure Monthly Meeting and weekly Facility Management infrastructure meetings.
  • Managing the site Infrastructure escalation process. Reporting directly to the Regional Infrastructure Lead and maintaining the DM escalation tracker. 
  • Engaging with external and internal stakeholders in a wide range of real estate scenarios.
  • Managing and assisting in the delivery of the site annual programme, prioritising welfare improvements. 
  • Supporting the day-to-day maintenance requests and issues proactively managing any problems and escalating where appropriate.
