Summary: The Senior Software Developer will engage in development best practices for the digital technology organization by designing, boding, test debugging, documenting and maintaining high complexity, global direct to consumer platforms. Bring your mastery of ecommerce implementations on Salesforce Commerce Cloud with experience in multi-site, multi-country environments. Work as part of the Digital technology team to analyze, review business requirements, define and design technical requirements and implement changes. This is a key role in a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud capability group. Works with team on the ongoing optimization of Salesforce Commerce Cloud as well as customization options built within the DTC platform. Partners with other members of the Digital technology team to translate business requirements into technical requirements to evolve platform. Under general direction implements Digital consumer experiences built on a foundation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Order Management functionalities. Participate in Agile sprints and design, develop, test and implement changes as defined by business requirements. Great verbal and communication skills with ability to present and communicate technical design and solutions to peers Integrate Commerce Cloud with all downstream platforms leveraging middleware, link cartridges, customer services while ensuring scalability, performance and quality coding guidelines. Works with code manager for environments, code releases and documentation. Diagnose and resolve technical problems during testing, implementation and support in a timely manner. Create reusable cartridge and components to support mutli-brand, global architecture. Responsible for ongoing documentation of platform and requirements. Must be comfortable being resourced in mid to large scale projects multi-site and multi-brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction, evaluates, designs, develops, modifies, debugs and tests programs for supported functional areas. 
  • Support existing applications on a 24x7 basis as a member of an applications on-call support process.
  • Works with business liaisons and technical teams to ensure that application utilization enhances business processes across the company without conflicts.
  • Utilizes company standards for application architecture, design and software development methodology. 
  • Occasionally aids in the review/creation of policies and guidelines and ensures lower level associates adhere to framework.
  • Develop software estimates and maintain project schedules.
  • Develop business application software at an experienced level. 
  • May provide direction to other developers relative to advanced technical topics. 
  • Perform code and unit test reviews as required.
  • Coordinates with vendors to resolve any issues in functionality. 
  • May evaluate some new technologies and service offerings.
  • Provide technical leadership that allows the team to expand their technical skills and professional development.
  • Occasionally leads and participates in the creation of the technical components needed for a business case, ROI analysis, specifications and requirement documents.
  • Occasionally leads and participates in performance and unit testing efforts.
  • Promote organizational learning by developing documentation and providing training.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field required. 
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience directly supporting packaged or custom software applications in a software developer capacity.
